  • Harvest Day #2. Back to much more "normal" harvest weather. Sunny, warm & beautiful! :D


  • Today was a day off, but we'll continue harvesting tomorrow...very early morning! (much before wake-up time!) I think I know who is going to look after that first part of tomorrow's harvest. ;)
  • Start of harvest in a bit cloudy weather this time. First Sauvignon Blanc is coming off by two Ero harvesters.

Harvest: Machine harvested in early April 2011.

Viticulture Notes: Produced by acclaimed New Zealand winemaker Alan McCorkindale using Vicarage Lane’s own award winning sauvignon blanc.

Winemaking: A careful balance of acidity and sweetness to provide a refreshing and persistent off dry finish enlivened by bubbles.
